2017 Shift Calendar

The Fayetteville Fire Department works on a 24/48 schedule which means a firefighter works a 24 hour shift and then is off 48 hours while the other shifts are working. This makes the firefighter work an average of 56 hours a week. Firefighters work 365 days a year, 24 hours a day to keep the City of Fayetteville safe. They do not get holidays off but are able to take vacation days throughout the year.
