So Fay 10k
Head down to the south part of town and race on the greenway in So Fay! The So Fay 10k will celebrate Kessler Mountain Regional Park and the paved trail system in South Fayetteville. This out and back course is mostly flat and is entirely on paved trail. A 1k race will take place within the parks for the kids, and pancakes will be served at the finish!
When: Saturday, October 26, 2019
Where: The start/finish will be at Kessler Mountain Regional Park. The course will use the Cato Springs and Town Branch sections of paved trail.
Who: Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities
What: The So Fay 10k is a chance for runners and walkers to show their support for the City of Fayetteville parks and trails!
Online registration will begin this summer. Check back soon for more details!
Prizes will be awarded to the Overall Male and Overall Female Finisher of each distance AND to the Top Male and Female Finisher of each age group for each distance. Age Groups: <10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+
If you are looking to get involved, we have plenty of opportunities for you! Volunteers will receive a t-shirt and duties will vary from event set up, participant check in, water stations, course monitors, and more. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if interested.
