Finding international ingredients can be a challenge in American markets. But there are a few groceries in Fayetteville that cater to the needs of our foreign-born residents.
The Fayetteville Farmer's Market is held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday on the Fayetteville downtown square from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. (2 p.m. on Saturdays) from April through October, and indoors at Ozark Natural Foods, 1554 N. College, every Saturday from December through March. The market offers fresh produce, organic meats, and handcrafted goods.
The International Grocery, at 1224 N. Lindell, offers Halal meat and foods, Indian and Middle Eastern foods, as well as Bangladesh, Pakistan and Asian spices and foods.
