Intersection improvements at the Shiloh Drive and Fulbright Expressway interchange, to include a roundabout or a traffic signal as approved by the Arkansas State Department of Transportation.
Why is It Important?
Left turning traffic from shopping areas east of the intersection backs up while waiting for traffic from Gregg Avenue to clear. During peak times, this backup extends to Steele Blvd. and impacts the intersection of Steele and Shiloh.
What is the Current Status?
Concepts for improvements at this interchange (click to view) and an alternate concept that would move the interchange to the east (click to view) at the intersection of Steele Blvd and Shiloh Drive have been developed. An engineering firm has been selected for the design which will begin in October 2019.
When Will it be Completed?
Construction is expected to be completed by 2022.
How is it Funded?
Funding for the project comes from the Bond issue that voters approved in April 2019.
