What is GIS?
GIS is a collection of computer hardware, software and geographic data for capturing, managing, analyzing and displaying all forms of geographical information.
The mission of the GIS Office is to deliver complete, timely, and accurate geographic information that expands the City of Fayetteville's ability to provide quality services. The Geographic Information System website promotes the use of GIS to quickly address problems and help in decision support regarding the land use, infrastructure and natural resources of the City of Fayetteville.
